Having a go at creating a Google Meet, recording and then publishing the recording on my professional blog. I am sure my future recordings will improve as my knowledge and confidence grows.
Chalk 'n Talk
I am enjoying the variety of Chalk 'n Talk topics. I have used Google Gmail / Calendar, as it is the suite used at work and I have used Gmail for my personal purposes but I have never been shown a number of the features available.
Deep Dive
The Deep Dive topics of Google Keep and Taming your Tabs with Toby I found very interesting. I haven't used Toby but I can see the benefits to utilising. I think Toby is a great tool to show learners. Having the ability to access / retrieve content you have stored from one source rather than using the search tools will be a great time saver. Collating all your files into one collection is a great tool.
Google Keep is something I think I need to investigate further as my current practice of notes and lists is effective. However, I do see the benefits of having the ability to collaborate notes and lists.
Hi George
ReplyDeleteThat was a great first video, and you're quite right it will get easier the more you do of them. I hope you managed to find time to connect with one of your colleagues or DFI buddies during the week to have another go.
I enjoy using Google Keep, it helps me keep notes organised. I especially like that you can add it to your phone and that they synchronise together.
What did you think about the Learn presentation from Dorothy? Did that give you some ideas of what Learn might look like for you in your teaching practice or at your school? I'd be interested to know what your thoughts are on this one.
Hey George - its a great course aye? I am learning heaps and heaps. Enjoying working with you guys.

Hi George, feel free to send me another invite to a google meet through calendar and we will work something out. I loved your video recording, you were successful in recording! Congrats! Have you mastered Google keep yet? This is something I'm yet to do. I prefer keeping my work emails separate to my phone too. This has been an improvement for work-life balance.
